As soon as you open the door, the first things you hear are people laughing and glasses clinking. The vibe isn't closed off to just regulars, so it feels less awkward even if you come alone! Even if you're stuck deciding from the menu, the staff are quick to pick up on what you like, so it never takes long to decide. Just telling them whether you want it sweet or refreshing, and roughly how strong you'd like it, was enough for them to point me in the right direction. The space has a lively energy overall, so after a while your voice naturally gets louder, and just sitting there, you get swept up in the same energy. It's not just about the cocktails here — I love how the air in the space always feels alive. The conversation flows naturally without dying out, so I think I'll be coming back here often whenever I'm in Jongno!!
